Aah, cooling and calming yogurt. So beneficial for the gut with it’s active cultures. Did you know you could use yogurt on your face?
In my family, yogurt takes on many roles:
- We use it in cooking – anytime you want to take your curry or stir fry to the next level, add a dollop of plain yogurt
- We eat it plain, sometimes with sugar. A bowlful of yogurt is the traditional way us South Indians round off lunch
We also incorporate it into skincare. Slathering a layer of plain yogurt on your face after you’ve spent some time in the sun soothes any irritation or burns.
